Jimmy Lyon

Jimmy Lyon is an American guitarist and songwriter known primarily for his work in the rock genre. Emerging in the 1970s, he gained prominence as a member of the band The Hounds, but he is best recognized for his contributions to the iconic rock group, The 70s Band, which he joined later in his career. Lyon is particularly celebrated for his collaboration with the legendary artist Eddie Money, co-writing and performing on several of Money's hits, including the chart-topping "Two Tickets to Paradise" and "Baby Hold On." His distinct guitar work and songwriting helped define the sound of late 70s and early 80s rock. Beyond his work with Money, Lyon has also released solo material, showcasing his versatility as a musician.
